The job
Knowify is the construction management platform built for trade contractors. We help contractors run better jobs: job costing, billing, change orders, and the back-office workflows that connect the office to the field.
We are hiring an Advisor Channel Manager to build and scale our advisor program: the accountants, bookkeepers, and construction business consultants who recommend Knowify to their clients. This is already a multi-million-dollar ARR channel, and we believe it is one of our single biggest untapped growth levers. Your job is to modernize, professionalize, and grow the existing partner program.
This is a builder's role, not a maintenance role. You will own the channel end to end: finding high-potential firms and individuals, developing new relationships, and building the repeatable processes that convert those relationships into pipeline. It is highly independent and high-impact, reporting directly to the VP of Marketing.
Skills and experience
- A builder. You have grown something from a base, not just managed an existing book. You are proactive, organized, and comfortable owning a pipeline and a number.
- Relationship-driven. You build trust quickly with independent professionals and small firms, and you sell consultatively without a hard-sell playbook.
- Credible with advisors. You understand construction accounting well enough that accountants and bookkeepers take you seriously. Strong familiarity with QuickBooks Online, and fluency in the workflows that matter to construction businesses: job costing, invoicing, billing, change orders, purchase orders, time tracking, and financial reporting.
- Process-minded. You turn what works into a repeatable system instead of relying on hustle alone.
- Mobile for the channel. Willing to travel for partner meetings, conferences, and industry events.
- A clear communicator who can explain software value in practical, workflow terms.
Responsibilities
- Grow the channel. Build a qualified pipeline of new advisor partners and expand the output of existing ones. This is the core of the role and how success is measured.
- Develop new relationships. Identify accounting firms, bookkeepers, and consultants with construction books, and bring the right ones into the program.
- Build the program. Create repeatable processes for outreach, onboarding, enablement, follow-up, and referral conversion. Move the channel from ad hoc to systematic.
- Manage the portfolio. Segment partners by potential, run named relationships with your highest-value firms, and keep the long tail warm and productive.
- Drive conversion. Own the handoff of advisor-sourced leads to sales, and work with sales and customer success so referred prospects get a strong experience.
- Own the data. Keep partner activity, attribution, and revenue impact clean and reported. Attribution accuracy is tied directly to how the channel is understood and funded.
- Enable partners. Teach advisors how Knowify fits their clients and works alongside QuickBooks Online, so they can recommend it with confidence.
- Feed the org. Bring partner and client feedback back into product, marketing, and go-to-market.
