The SMB Account Executive job is part of a growing team here at Knowify. This team is responsible for managing our inbound trial & demos, educating and learning about our clients business needs, and finding the right Knowify features for them.
Skills and experience
We are looking for an energetic, driven, and fast learning Account Executive to help us scale our inbound sales team and grow the business.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in sales and inbound sales specifically. Along with having a strong sales methodology, we expect you to be a reliable professional, able to balance customer orientation and a result-driven approach.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a potential client to securing a deal.
- Perform a product-focused, consultative demo for clients to provide them with a vision of what it would look like to use Knowify.
- Close deals in a fast-paced, friendly, and competitive environment.
- Provide professional post-sales handoff to our customer support team.
- Maintain detailed account information in our CRM for quick reference and seamless forecasting.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Account Executive, or similar sales/customer service role.
- Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
- Outstanding knowledge of construction and sub-contracting is a huge plus; knowledge of CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus.
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- A business acumen.
